This visionary group brings together over 15 years of academic leadership in Somaliland’s universities and more than 40 years of entrepreneurial and industrial experience across the Horn of Africa.

United by a common goal, these founders recognized the urgent need to transform higher education in Somaliland into a system that not only imparts knowledge but also fuels innovation, supports enterprise, and drives national development. Drawing on their combined expertise, they established OGF University as a next-generation institution—one that integrates rigorous academic training with the practical demands of modern industries.
